The Virginia Consort’s 36th season continues with a Mid-Season Masterworks concert. Under the direction of Deke Polifka, the Consort, Festival Chorus, and Youth Chorale offer a special program of American choral music, honoring the 250th anniversary of the United States (America250). The central works are Leonard Bernstein’s Chichester Psalms and choruses from Aaron Copland’s opera The Tender Land, performed by over 100 singers, full orchestra, and soloists.
