Coffee & Conversations Feb 21
Our Midseason Masterworks concert (Sunday, March 1st at Old Cabell) features repertoire by American composers, honoring the 250th anniversary of the United States (America250). The central works are Bernstein’s Chichester Psalms and choruses from Copland’s opera The Tender Land.
On Saturday, February 21st at 12:30, Deke Polifka, Music Director of The Virginia Consort, will share his insights and understanding of these marvelous works at an informal talk at Greencroft Club – 575 Rodes Dr, Charlottesville, VA. Please join us for a relaxed and engaging hour – enjoy a cup of coffee or tea and hear more about our exciting March concert.
