Tune In!
A day of singing, mindfulness, and vocal health workshops for the whole community!
Dear friends of The Virginia Consort,
Tune-In is returning this year! Please mark your calendars for Saturday, January 31, from 8:30 a.m.-3:00 p.m. at Brennan Hall, St. Anne's-Belfield School 799 Faulconer Drive.
For the second year in a row, we received a grant from the BAMA works foundation. This allows us to offer this event for FREE to all participants. We just ask that folks who are interested to REGISTER so we can get an accurate count for music ordering.

8:45-9:15 Opening Song and Welcome
9:15-10:45 Choral Sectional Rehearsals led by Deke Polifka and Victoria Redfearn Cave with special vocal coaching by Will Nichols and Amanda Zoe Vest

What to Bring
Folder, pencil, water bottle, snack/lunch for you, comfortable clothes. This event is completely free thanks to a grant from the BAMA works foundation. That said, if you would like to donate to the Virginia Consort with proceeds going to our Community Outreach and Youth Programs Fund, we accept cash, Venmo or check. We will have information on how to buy tickets for our upcoming March concert at check-in.
Parking: Tune In event parking will be at St. Anne's-Belfield School at 799 Faulconer Drive. Again, remember that this is NOT the campus across from Foods of All Nations. If you are coming for Tune In, you will drive up the driveway with the white fencing on both sides. Vere right. You will see a lacrosse field on the left, a soccer field on the lower right, keep going. Pass the preschool on the left. There is a lot after that on the left in front of Tarring Gym, more spaces in front of the weight room, as well as parking on sides of the street. See picture below. The entrance to Brennan Hall is accessed via the traffic on the left side of the image, across from the tennis courts, and is indicated with a red arrow. The yellow boxes indicate areas open for you to park.
Please help us spread the word about our event. Feel free to forward this News Blog to interested folks. Looking forward to another wonderful day of Tune-In!
All the best,
Victoria Redfearn Cave, Director of the Youth Chorale and Community Outreach
Deke Polifka, Director of the Virginia Consort,
and all your friends at the Virginia Consort
